Manage Knowledge Sources
View, refresh, and remove the pages and files your agent learns from.
Before you begin
- Open your agent in the Babelbeez dashboard.
- Finish any active crawl or upload so you can see final results.
Where to find it
- Open Train Voice Agent in the left menu.
- You’ll see a list called the Knowledge Base with your added sources.
What you can do
- See each source (website page, single page, or PDF) with status and summary.
- Delete a source you no longer need.
- Update a source that has already been processed.
- Add a source that has been discovered, but not processed yet.
Steps
- Open Train Voice Agent.
- Review the Knowledge Base list.
- To delete a source
- Click the checkbox next to the item you no longer need.
- Confirm deletion.
- To cancel a running crawl
- If a crawl is in progress, click Cancel on the job controls.
- The crawl stops and no more pages will be ingested.
- To refresh out‑of‑date content
- For a single page: update the page by clicking Update.
- For a PDF: upload the updated file, then delete the old one.
What you should see
- Each item shows a status (for example, processing → ready).
- Deleted items disappear from the list.
- Cancelled jobs stop adding new entries.
Tips
- Keep the list tidy—remove old PDFs and pages you’ve replaced.
- Add your most important pages first (FAQs, pricing, services) to get value quickly.
- If you test on staging and production, keep sources consistent across both sites.
Troubleshooting
- I don’t see new pages from a crawl
- Make sure you clicked Confirm after Discovery. Large sites take longer to finish.
- A source shows errors
- The page might be blocked or require login. Use public pages only.
- The agent answers with old details
- Re‑add the page or upload a new PDF, then remove the outdated source.
Next steps
- Add more content: Scrape a single page or Crawl your website.
- Test in Live Preview and ask questions covered by your sources.
