Plan Limits and Upgrades

Understand what you can crawl or add, and what to do when you reach a limit.

Before you begin

  • If you plan to upgrade, have your payment method ready for the Customer Portal.

What “limits” mean

  • Sources per agent: how many knowledge sources your agent can have (pages or PDFs).
  • Pages Learned: the total pages you can process during your current billing period.
  • Discovery vs Ingestion:
    • Discovery finds pages on your site (placeholders).
    • Ingestion learns the content (counts toward limits) after you confirm.

Where you see limits

  • During “Add entire website” (crawl), the confirmation screen shows:
    • Pages found
    • Your plan limits
    • What will be ingested if you continue
  • In the Knowledge Base list, you see how many items you already have.

Common situations

  • I found more pages than my plan allows
    • In the confirmation screen, reduce the number of pages to ingest, or upgrade your plan.
  • I hit the sources limit
    • Delete older or unneeded sources to make space, or upgrade your plan.
  • I started a crawl but want fewer pages
    • Cancel the job, then restart with a smaller scope.

Make space without upgrading

  1. Open Train Voice Agent.
  2. In the Knowledge Base, select old or duplicate entries.
  3. Delete them to free up room for new sources.

Upgrade your plan (more capacity)

  1. Open the billing area (Customer Portal) from your account menu.
  2. Choose a higher plan that fits your needs.
  3. Confirm the change. Your new limits are applied to your account.
  4. Return to Train Voice Agent and proceed with your crawl or uploads.

Tips

  • Start with your most important pages first (FAQ, pricing, services).
  • If you run a staging site, keep sources there small so production gets the most capacity.

Troubleshooting

  • My crawl won’t continue
    • You may be over the plan limit. Reduce the selection on the confirmation screen or upgrade.
  • I upgraded but still can’t add pages
    • Refresh the dashboard and try again. If it still fails, re‑open the Customer Portal and confirm the upgrade is active.
  • I can’t delete a source
    • Make sure no crawl job is currently writing to that source. Cancel the job first, then delete.
